mBalance is looking for a highly competent Business Development Manager to support sales activities in the growing Asia Pacific market.
As part of the sales team in Singapore, you will interact with customers (channel partners and mobile operators) to promote and sell our TextPassTM mobile messaging products. The role requires in-depth understanding of the mobile market and technology, especially in the area of messaging.
As our Business Development Manager you will interact with Sales and Product Management for customer/partner presentations, RFI/RFP responses, system designs, commercial offers and development of sales tools & collateral.

Based in Singapore, this position requires regular traveling within the Asia Pacific region.
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in the international mobile operator infrastructure market is required, with at least 2 years pre-sales/technical consulting experience with major mobile operators. Preferably, the candidate has in-depth knowledge of and experience with SMS, MMS and billing solutions, and has been working for one of the major infrastructure vendors in the telecoms market. A high-level knowledge of IP and IT products and solutions will be required.
BSc or MSc in (ICT) Engineering or similar is a prerequisite for this role.
Suitable candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills; full command of English and strong presentation skills are a must. The Business Development Manager will use those skills and technical expertise to strengthen long term business relationships with customers and partners.
