mBalance is looking for a motivated pre-sales consultant to support sales activities globally.
As part of the commercial team, the Pre-Sales Consultant will support the business development & sales team with activities to promote and sell the TextPassTM products. These activities are targeted on mBalance customers: OEM partners and mobile operators. The role requires in-depth understanding of mobile technology, especially in the area of messaging. The Pre-Sales Consultant will interact with sales and product management for customer/partner presentations, RFI/RFP responses, system designs, commercial offers and development of sales tools & collateral.

Based in Amsterdam, this position requires regular travelling within the EMEA region. The Pre-Sales Consultant will report to the Business Development Director.
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience in the international mobile operator infrastructure market is required, with at least 1 year pre-sales/technical consulting experience with major mobile operators. Preferably, the candidate has in-depth knowledge of and experience with SMS, MMS and billing solutions, and has been working for one of the major infrastructure vendors in the telecoms market. A high-level knowledge of IP and IT products and solutions will be required.
BSc or MSc in Engineering or similar is a prerequisite for this role. Suitable candidates will have strong written communication skills; full command of English is a must.
