Based in Amsterdam, you will be involved in the technical (International) customer support activities of our wireless network solutions for Mobile Operators. You will be the main contact point for customers with questions and issues with their operational systems. You will be responsible for following up on customer incidents. Together with our development and senior engineering team make sure that the customer is satisfied with the delivered systems and services.

You will participate in the testing and advanced troubleshooting of the mBalance mobile network products and projects.  Occasionally you will be assisting with on-site and remote installations.

At least the following shall be part of your CV:

• Bachelors or Master (software) engineering degree, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Work experience of at least 2 years in ICT, preferably in telecom product environment.
• Detailed knowledge and detailed experience with Unix Operating systems preferably Solaris.
• Experience with configuration of Services under Unix like Web Servers, NTP, DNS, SNMP, etc.
• Experience in IP routing, TCP/IP techniques, redundancy and security concepts.
• It is to your advantage if you also have experience with: SS.7 (C7), GSM, CDMA, UMTS or other mobile networks, including Short Message Services and Multimedia Messaging.
• General knowledge of ITIL and system engineering practices including computer hardware assembly.
• Working experience with Windows XP.
• Must demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Must have a supportive attitude, be customer focused also when working under stress.
• Fluent in English language (written en spoken) and preferable also in Dutch.
