The TextPass™ AMS allows you to selectively fine-tune and optimise the
delivery (schemes) of the traffic terminating in your own and
(inter)national networks. The flexible message dispatching mechanism of
the AMS, combined with its adaptive delivery and retry schemes,
provides you with a unique set of capabilities that are extremely
advantageous in network congestion situations, as well as in
optimisation the capacity of your SMS network.
Expand your SMS Network with TextPass™ AMS
The following features are part of the rich AMS functionality:
- Reliable high-capacity message storage - a single AMS node can already store up to 5 million
SMS messages;
- True message prioritisation - the AMS allows definition of priority queues for messages that will
always be delivered before any other or, similarly, low priority queues for messages that will be
delivered in the background only when there is network capacity available (but always after any
higher priority messages);
- Multiple queues - system queues are for standard traffic and operator defined message queues can
handle specific delivery schemes, queue sizes and priorities;
- Optimised delivery - using optimised delivery algorithms that take the network environment into
account, AMS will not waste any signalling resources. These Adaptive Delivery Schemes are especially
important on very busy hours during events, e.g. on New Year's Eve;
- Real-time Queue Viewing - the Queue Viewer provides real-time insight in the current status of the
queue, i.e. how many messages are in the queue, the average amount of deliveries, average message
details;
- Detailed statistics - like all TextPass™ products, the AMS also provides a wide range of statistical
counters that are made available real-time via SNMP or via the web-based graphical statistics viewer.
