Network Access made simple
Easy implementation of location & presence services

The TextPass™ Network Access Function product allows Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Application developers to access the mobile network and retrieve specific information about a subscriber using a simple TCP/IP interface. Various types of subscriber information are made available through the various specific Network Access Function (NAF) services.

SS.7 with the simplicity of TCP/IP
The Application can be any system or software process, e.g. an MMSC or Instant Messaging system, that can access the TextPass™ NAF via a simple TCP/IP connection. The Application can perform a network query by sending an information request command to TextPass™ NAF, which will interrogate the mobile network and pass the information back to the Application in a simple text response.
Examples are: obtain the IMSI for a certain subscriber (MSISDN) or get a subscriber's location information from the network.
