The TextPass™ NAF allows any Application to access the mobile network for specific information about a subscriber using a simple TCP/IP interface. Each type of network information is made available through a specific service, the so-called NAF Service.

The following NAF Services are available:

• MMquery
  obtains location and state information for a Mobile Station as provided by MAP-ATI (CAMEL Phase 2 functionality);
• MMevents
  obtains automatic location and state updates for a Mobile Station (CAMEL Phase 3 functionality);
• SMSalert
  registers a MSISDN for an SMS-Alert-SC event, i.e. when mobile is switched on an alert will be provided;
• GetIMSI
  obtains the IMSI from the GSM network for a specified MSISDN;
• GetMSRN
  obtains the MSRN from the GSM network for a specific MSISDN.
